Privacy Policy

I both care about your privacy and couldn't care less where you've flown. Since I designed Air Smiles with privacy in mind, the privacy policy could be summarised as follows:

No Air Smiles data ever leaves your device.

You have every right to be sceptical, of course, so here is a list of things that Air Smiles explicitly does not do:

• Air Smiles neither asks for, stores, nor transmits any personal data. This includes your name, address, email address, phone number, social security number, or favourite teacher's pet's maiden name.
• Air Smiles does not require an account.
• Air Smiles does not track your usage of the app in any way. I make every effort to make the app as fun and useful as possible, but I will not make any design decisions based on analytics. Nor indeed can I, because there are none.
• Air Smiles does not ask for your location.
• Air Smiles does not ask for access to your camera.
• Air Smiles displays no notifications.
• Air Smiles does not sync your data to any cloud service.
• Air Smiles does not require an Internet connection to function. The one exception to this is the map view.
• Air Smiles is entirely free to download and use, offers no in-app purchases, and does not ask for any form of payment details.
• Air Smiles does not access any paid content or services.
• Air Smiles is entirely ad-free.
